has anyone else ever done this?

a guy who owns an email list emailed me and asked why a bunch of subscribers' mail bounced with "relaying denied". all these addresses were from one domain, so i emailed postmaster@domain. postmaster replies, and it's the same guy! hmm, i wonder if he noticed...

Was workin on some bidnesses' PC with the cover off. Was installing Novell or something, don't remember (had to put in a network card).

It was taking forever to install so I was kinda tinkering around in the case with it turned on.

A card in there (like a soundcard or something) had a lot of pins sticking out of it (for a daughtercard I suppose). Well I was bored and just not thinking so grabbed a floppy connector and stuck in on there :(

Big flash, power went off, and heart was beating real fast. Didn't do that again :)

Was pretty dumb, no idea why I did it, I knew what would happen. Didn't hurt the computer or anything else luckily, just reset the breaker.

I do tech support for a chain that has some stores in Puerto Rico (as well as 43 states) ... I work overnight so we usually do not have any spanish speakers after like midnight ... We get calls from people who dont speak english who try to explain problems with their workstations and printers and such ....

A few times thay have ended up rebooting stuff that doesnt need to be rebooted (ie their SCO servers and suc) because they think reboot a workstation means, turn everything off and on in the entire store. Ohh what fun.
