It's amazing how some people think it's always some else's fault. I'm standing by the coffee maker waiting to fuel up for the day when one of the usual suspects gives me one of her own special greetings.

Idiot: Why the hell do you insist on buying crap for equipment?
Windogg: Uhhh... good morning to you too.
Idiot: You should start getting good equipment. Take back you sh!t right now.
Windogg: Huh?
Idiot: That new monitor is a piece of crap. It dies already. How the hell am I suppose to deal with this?
Windogg: Have you called help desk?
Idiot: Why the fsuck should I wait to have my problem fixed?
Windogg: Well first, you can use the LCD since it is a laptop. It's a beautiful 14" TFT. Won't be as big as a Sony 19" but it'll do. So what is wrong?
Idiot: I get in this morning an the thing just sits there doing nothing.
Windogg: So it get power?
Idiot: Yea, I think the picture windows thing is broken
Windogg: OK OK OK, I'll take a quick look.

<< Hike over to cubicle >>

Idiot: See I turn the thing on and nothing.
Windogg: Ahhhhhh............. I seeeeeeeeee
Idiot: Yea, I told you it was broken.
Windogg: The only thing broken is the user. You see, it's customary to use the docking station if you want funtionality out of the things plugged into it like the mouse, the keyboard, and THE MONITOR.

<< Windogg slides notebook into docking station. Monitor blinks to life >>

Idiot: Uhhh... yea... like I said. They should make these thinks more user friendly uhhhh.... not everyone is technical.... mmmmm.... make it so the average person can...

Less technical huh? Let see...

Step 1: Push power button.
Step 2: Look with eyes.

Yup. That's a tough

That is whats commonly referred to as an Operator Headspace Error ... as in the operator has too much free space in their heads ... because they are missing a brain ...

We refer to this type of problem as an "issue with the ID-10T interface"

End-user = Loser.

Windogg, pardon me for laughing once again at your expense! ;)

Are these people you work with nasty to everyone all the time, or only to you? I've worked at the same company for 20 years and not once, ever, has anyone ever talked to me like that. Is it just your company's culture? If so, I give you much credit for not stooping to their level.
