Wasn't paying attention at the gas station and filled up w/ Premium.

Was ~$28.00 instead of $22-23 🙁 $1.87 instead of $1.67

That's ok, the other day I was driving back form jetskiing and I decided to fill up my jeep and the ski. There's a stretch of the road between the ramp and my house that has like 5-6 gas stations on it, so I randomly pull into the one that's easiest to get the trailer into.

Well long story short the pumps are new style (all digital, credit card readers etc) but for whatever reason the clear plastic over the #s is very faded and yellowed, so I can barely see anything. I go ahead stick in my credit card, select super unleaded and start pumping. Fill up the ski and then start on the Jeep.

Rather than clicking off when the tank is full, the pump starts slowing slowing slowing and finally stops.

Turns out that when you use the outside credit card readers, the max they authorize you is for $50 of gas. TURNS OUT I WAS PAYING $2.19 PER GALLON. It didn't even occur to me to think about it, since all the stations around here are usually $0.01-0.05 apart.

So pissed off. The station across the street? Thirty cents cheaper. I paid fifty freakin dollars for gas and didn't even finish filling up!!!

I pulled into a station and filled up at the "full serve" pump which cost about $.15 more per gallon and pumped it myself by accident. Never will do that again!
 
Sorry to be an ass but that title reminded of a member who thought he got his gf pregnant or something? Was that you thawolfman? If so whaaaa happened?
