grease/compound on the pins of my p3
fcpga....

and then it got into the socket on the motherboard too!

Is this bad? its like impossible to clean off from
imbetween those pins.....
 
As long as its not Electrically Conductive it shouldn't be a problem. The white stuff usually isn't conductive, but the silver stuff is.
 
you could try using a solvant that is circut board safe, most industrial supplys carry them. make sure it says it on the can and if your not sure, get a junk circut board from somthing and try it first
