Just built new computer and formatted with /s option (off of Win98 boot disk). After installing Win2000 and rebooting, it brings up a boot menu. It thought the /s was a real OS. Now, this is really annoying. How can I bypass the Boot Menu or change the default choice time to 1sec?

as a dual booter myself, this is how you do it.

mycomputer->properties->advanced->startup&Recovery-> and u should see it as the first selection. mine is at 1 sec. =)

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Start Up And Recovery -> Choose "Microsoft Windows 2000 Proffessional/fastdetect" as your start up option

Hope this helps

mycomputer->properties->advanced->startup&Recovery->
De-select "Display list of operating systems for "X" seconds.
Do that and it won't show the boot menu and it'll just boot straight into whatever is configured as the default OS.

Or of course you can remove the references to the other OS in the boot.ini file, but I'd recommend leaving that alone unless you know what your doing.
