I orderd a windshield wiper knob for a 73-79 Ford F-100, and got a knob for a 67-72 F-100. This is the fisrt time I ordered from this place, so I get to test out thier customre service on Monday. Kinda annoying though, since it's been raining.

Can you sleeve the knob to make it fit, or is it just a different "external size" completely?

It fits already, but it's a different style and doesnt match the other knobs in the cab.

One thing I've learned working on my new motor is that you get to know the parts guy at the dealer quite well. Its cool cause it makes exchanges and what not very simple. I just hate that the salespeople at that dealership are like vultures. I have to go through them everytime.

That sucks notfred, what company did you make your purchase from? BTW, the fact that they don't have weekend CS hours sucks as well :(
