Story

How the hell did I miss this news story last night? Guess that's what I get for working in the yard and then reading all night once I came in.

I drove down 244 about 20 minutes before that went up in flames. We could still hear the explosions from my house. Was even thinking of parking my POS saturn near there to burn lol!

Oddly enough no....said it happened about 4:30 yeasterday....strange I didn't hear or see it since the building I work in is only about 3 miles from where it happened. Didn't hear it, didn't see it when I left the parking garage after work yesterday, didn't see it on my drive home(I live in the opposite direction), and never heard anything on the radio because I had a CD playing. Got home, changed clothes, the worked in the yard until about dark. Never saw the smoke....then I came in, took a shower, read the new CLancy book until about 11, then went to bed. I was totally oblivious....

they were showing a bmw with the front half on fire and melting from a tv helicopter yesterday 🙂

I guess if there was any good to come out of the explosion it was that she has been on TV all night talking about it, interviewing people, etc....the pic may look good, but trust me....it doesn't do her justice.

I was on the phone with my mom (she was on 244) when the explosions actually happened, and my bro and I were nearby so we decided to "investigate." Shortly after they evacuated and ran us off. Pretty crazy though...

Oh, and yeah, Chera is hot.

It damaged a 50 block area!?! Wow :Q
Bet the explosion woke you up 😛

No doubt....ran into her once at The Brook, at least I think it was The Brook...might have been at In the Raw..anyway she was hot, hot, hot!!! Met Patricia Lopez once downtown at lunch, they were on the Main Mall doing some story and interviewing people and she looked amazing....always thought she was cute from seeing her on the news, but in person she looked great....the pic of her on the web site is a bad bad one though.

How close were you to the explosion? I'm still amazed I didn't hear or see it considering I work downtown...

50 blocks!

I wonder if my dad remembers that ...

He would've been 16...

Woah ! In the picture in that news story, the fire looks like a giant flaming Godzilla walking around !

Dude, that was some crazy schit. I was driving a couple miles away when it happend. A little while later I saw video of those huge cylinders flying through the air! :Q

A few years back when I lived in St. Cloud, MN, there was an explosion that leveled a city block. NSP was doing some work in the area and a backhoe hit a gas line. Killed several people, but amazingly it was only a few considering it was around lunchtime and this happened in the downtown area.

Alot of tulsans that chat here....Hi everyone im a newbie to this forum..I live in tulsa and saw the fireworks the other day...Im suprised nobody died....\\\

I wasn't that close to the explosion, but once I heard about it from my mom I headed downtown, went through the Brady district, and ended up right next to it. The news trucks were actually right behind us. We could see most of the fire, smoke, etc, but no more explosions at that point. I heard people around that area actually felt the ground/glass shaking, so I'm surprised you didn't hear/feel it.
