for a while, my dog has been acting kind of wierd. he would put one side of this head against the carpet and drag it, like he is trying to scratch his head or something.

He does it a lot, everyday, multiple times a day. anybody had their dog do that?? does he have ticks or fleas or something?

and also, he walks around the house panting and whining.....is he just wanting attention, or does he not feel good somewhere??

Yeah my dog drags her head along the carpet like shes trying to scratch her ear or something but I'm almost 100% sure she does it just for something to do or if she really has an itch. My dog whines a lot as well but that's because she wants food...and attention. If your dog doesn't appear sick and eats normal and doesn't show any signs of an injury or something else I'm sure he's fine.

My corgi does that as well but he rubs his whole side of his body against the floor, not just his head. He also loves it when he does it and doesn't whine or pant, he barks a little though

Sounds like an ear infection...not a big deal. Most dogs with floppy ears get em from time to time, but you need to go to the vet to get drops.

Yeah, go to a vet. It may be normal affectionate behavior for many dogs, but if it's not usual behavior in your dog, then something is probably wrong.

After I give the mini schnauzers a bath, they do it...I assume it's because they have water stuck in their ears.

Also, that dog is adorable

Make sure if you check for ticks and the such that you check under the collar as well. I would check for things myself and then go to the vet if you can't find anything.

Makes me wish I had a pup, it's been a while since I've had any canines :(

Last one was killed by a much larger dog several years back...

Earmites would start looking like scabs in the ears.
Yeast infection looks like earwax in the ear.

See a vet for a real diagnostic.
