Not at all. It sounds much more like something someone in our military would say. It's very focused yet reserved, and full of resolve. Islamists usually tend to blather on about Islam and Allah and crap like that.

Yes it was a stupid comment.

When I read it, it just reminded me of a threat that Bin Laden made against the US. That is why I mention it. "Time and place of our choosing....overwhelming."
