Doesn't everybody already drink Mountain Dew for breakfast?

Not good news... my mother-in-law is a soda addict who regularly starts drinking Mountain Dew or Sunkist early in the morning. Just another excuse for her to drink even more of that stuff.

I know a few people who drink Mountain Dew for breakfast... and lunch, and dinner, and a few more times in-between...

"Mountain Dew is marketing the beverage as having fewer calories than a typical soda (it contains 80 per 16-ounce can) and less caffeine than your average energy drink."

It seems a little odd to me that they're keeping the caffeine lower than a typical energy drink if they're marketing it as a morning soda. People tend to prefer to drink a hefty amount of caffeine early in the day. Giving it the caffeine content of Red Bull or Monster seems like a natural fit.

We need a coffee flavored soda instead.

Coke Black was good while it lasted.

Dew's the secret to health, I use to work with this old school Fortran programmer who had been drinking a case of it every work day for like 25 years. Dude was a beast, never missed a day of work and hit 3 home runs one year at the company soft ball game. I stopped working there a decade ago But I ran into him a few years ago, he's still drinking a case a day.
