how do you sketch pictures like you see on the adverts? What apps do they use? All the apps I use are crap and pop ups just pop up every 10 seconds ;_;

The Apple pen is awesome btw it's well worth the price IMO

I know 3 people with the 12.9" iPad Pro.

Two of them never use it. They are both end users, not media content creators. They say it's too big for basic media consumption. One just uses his iPhone 6 Plus to watch video. I'm not sure what the other one uses to watch video. For actual work they use laptops (business applications).

The third guy loves his 12.9" iPad Pro, but he is a web designer. He uses it for a Photoshop second screen (palettes, etc.), and for displaying his work to clients.

None of the three use Apple Pen.

I personally have no desire to get a 12.9" iPad Pro. I fall into the same group as the first two guys. I tried it in the store and agree it's just way too big for basic media consumption. My preferred media consumption devices are an iPhone 7 Plus or a 9.7" iPad, depending upon the scenario.

Oh I see.

I use mine mainly for piano sheet reading. I don't use physical paper anymore because now you can scribble notes on the iPad so that's all good :)
and secondly I use my iPad for movies and streaming and that's all really I know waste of money in my part but I can happily say I did not cuz piano reading is much much better for me no need to print out sheets and shit anymore. I have the IPad mini laying around somewhere I use that when I read books.

FYI I don't use my iPad for work or anything work related lol

I have a 12.9 Pro and use it as my laptop replacement, basically. I also have a 2015 rMB, but only use that when I'm traveling (but still pack my iPad Pro). I use the Pencil all the time, not just to navigate iOS, but also for sketching (I just got Notability ($10)) and like it a lot. There's another sketching app that I can't recall the name of but I want to try it too, it does a clever thing where it treats your finger as the eraser, which seems like a brilliant idea. I also use it to annotate PDFs and sign documents.

Same here, pro 12.9 plus keyboard and pencil is my main computing device. I do have an old windows laptop running in clamshell that I RDP to do certain things, but 99% of my work is performed on the iPad. Would never go back to a MacBook, portability and battery life on the iPad is miles better.

Also, I don't sketch. I love the pencil for photo and video editing.
