Doesn't anyone have the A7V8X/A/L/SAT/1394 in stock?

Hi,

I'm trying to find somebody who stocks the A7V8X with the onboard LAN, audio, Serial ATA and Firewire. I haven't been able to find it in stock anywhere. A couple of the retailers I've called have said that Asus hasn't released that one yet, but that they'll be the first to get it. I don't know if I believe that, though, because a number of people on these boards have made comments indicating that they have one.

So, can anyone tell me 1) whether or not Asus has even shipped any of these, and 2) if anyone has one, where did you get it, and who else might have it in stock?

It kind of pisses me off that so many retailers would lie to me. It's alright if they tell me that they won't have it until October, but when they say that it hasn't been released yet, and they'll be the first to have it, they're just flat out lying to get me on a back order list. All it does is get them on my list of companies to not do business with anymore.

Love the board so far. I have a small issue. My autoplay on my cd drives is not working. A little annoyance, but still I am gonna re-install. I also want to upgrade to the 1006 final as soon as I find it. I will try oclocking it a littel later and let you know.

Yeah, that's the non-firewire, non-serial ata version. The description on their website says Serial ATA, but the title clearly says no RAID. Asus is apparently only shipping 2 versions of this board right now. One has everything, and the other omits firewire and SATA. The description on the ASUS web site says that LAN and audio are optional too, but I haven't seen anyone selling this board without those.

Anyway, the loaded version is in stock at mwave.com. I just ordered it for $156 shipped. I should see it in a few days, and I'll let everyone know if I have any problems.
