I was actually surprised when I first heard that, but then I remembered that I use Adblock Plus. :whiste:
Since I know someone will comment on it... I wouldn't mind giving websites their revenue, but I don't trust Flash ad content, and I absolutely cannot stand obtrusive ads that take up a ridiculous amount of your browser's render area. In regard to ad content, even Anandtech had a malevolent ad running in their ad rotation once. If I recall, they use an external ad rotation service, and sometimes stuff simply slips through.
Given how ridiculously buggy Flash is, I won't subject my PC to potential threats like that, and if Flash wasn't so damned popular, I would just uninstall it completely. I can deal with silly, flashing GIF ads telling me I won a free iPad.
