Does your system start some programs for no apparent reason?

This has been pestering me for some time now. All of a sudden determined programs decide to start on their own.

Real Jukebox used to be common culprit, but now the AIW multimedia center is taking the honor.

The problem with that is that last time it happened, the monitor that AIW was connected to was not selected as the primary monitor. Result, BSOD + file corruption. (I'm using ATi beta drivers in W2k on a dual monitor setting. I know I'm threading thin with ATi regular drivers. I know I'm desperate when I volunteer to their beta)

I have this feeling that the problem comes from my cordless Logitech keyboard, but I was wondering if anybody experienced stuff like that too.

Happens with me too......all of the Real Audio items....real audio, real download, real jukebox, Microsoft Intellipoint, Sound Blaster Live Update...

Can get rid of most of them if you have something like Start Up Control Panel, but some are really tough to get rid of.
