Does your sound ever just stop?

It's weird. After my computer is on for a lengthy number of days, usually 10 or more, then sometimes my sound won't work except through media player. I think it's funny, yet sometimes annoying. Winamp is usually where I am at when it stops.

Does that ever happen to anyone else?

Thanks. I have a SB Audigy. Thinking about going turtle beach if this doesn't stop. LOL. But that'd have to wait until my gf has wife credentials, and gets to inherit this along with a ring, and my Z-560s. Then I'll get the Z-680s and completely dominate my new dorm. LOL 😀
