Does your PC have a floppy?

Seeing as I built it myself, and I had a very small budget, no. It will eventually. Just wanna get another hard drive and another stick of ram first. I've got a zip drive though.

I slipstreamed my sata drivers with xp and xp SP2 CD. so i don't need to have a floppy to install the drivers.

i do but one hasn't worked for about three years now, another machine it isn't hooked up but i don't have the cover for the slot, so it's still in there.

I only had a beige one on hand, and the my case was black. It would just take too much effort to put one in now. USB flash drives are so simple I wonder why people still use floppies.

Yes. One needs a floppy to flash the BIOS on most graphics cards. And, AFAIK, my Soltek K8AN2E-GR doesn't have a windows-based BIOS flasher or a BIOS flasher built into the BIOS (like my old Abit NF7-S R2).

And let's not discount sentimentality. 😛
