I know my sister's life does. The few days I spent with her over the 4th of July is enough for a year... or more. Very little of it directed at me. Most of it spread elsewhere. Still don't want to be in the thick of all that negativity.

Holding grudges hurts you more than it hurts the other person. It's best to forgive and forget.

Seriously though, if someone is causing you any kind of stress or hate it's easier to just escape that situation instead of trying to fight it and continuously hating that person and holding a grudge. You have to leave that situation so it stops affecting you, and then let go of the grudge. Easier said than done sometimes though.
