My life has always been full of interesting drama...a lot more bad than good.

I like to talk, I listen around me, I interact. Too much of the time that pisses people off, usually those that were not even affected.

This past week in a group of 5 dudes traveling for work, I experienced restaurant checks at majorly reduced cost.

I shared this the first time it happened and thought it was a lark...the other dudes began wondering if I was secretly hooking up with the waitresses ahead of time :)

When it happened the third time (7 days of dinners almost a 50% hit rate ;)) I was really confused.

Little Michigan town, I felt like a Boss.

of course. Usually the people around me end up dead. The ones who I let live wish I hadn't.

So you expect us to believe that out of the blue you got, for no other reason than your charm or similar, 50% off on the majority of your restaurant checks? They'd charge you $6 for a $12 entre or "forget" to charge for appetizer and drink?

Maybe they mistook you for Kid Rock, he's a favorite at Waffle Houses.

Maybe the waitress is trying to make up for the fact that the cook spat in your food.

umm I don't eat at Waffle Houses. My lunch usually sets me back $15 or so for a reference. When on the road we tend to blow up our per diem though...$46 a day in this place was done mid-day.

Not sure what you are saying here...I was in a group. I paid much less for my drinks than they did. Everyone paid full price for the meal. We all drank about the same amount.

I don't think you ever get out though.

Was there an error in your tab? Did you point it out to the server/cashier or did you simply keep your mouth shut and steal the food?
