Oh man.. I used to play Return to Castle Wolfenstein with my girlfriend...

She'd sit on my lap and take control for shooting and reloading.. (just Ctrl & R) While I did the rest of the movement, mouse aiming, etc... It's not hard at all but it was a lot of fun for my gf (and me) because she had to learn how to shoot in bursts to adjust to the recoil, and knowing when to reload. My rig is also hooked up with Boston Acoustics BA4800 surround system so the bass of the shots and ambience the game created was blissfully involving.

I guess she found it very entertaining because RTCW portrayed very realistic environments: beautiful scenery graphics, convincing enemy AI, (she definitely LOVED to storm the captain room with the silencer and assasinate the two head generals with two head shots.. and still being unnoticed), and great sound effects..

And we used to make out between the levels loading.. 😉 She's got her own laptop now @ college, and I got her the game which runs beautifully on her Pentium 4 1.5ghz + Geforce Mobile + 512 ddr.

My girlfriend will play Mario Tennis or Mario Kart. That is it. We tried NHL 2001 on the PS2 once, but it was not enjoyable for her.

Dude, get her to try Hot Shots Golf 3. It can be frustrating at first, but it's fun! 😀
 
My fiancee used to play Age of Empires and Diablo II with me. But then she got accepted into pharmacy school and doesn't have time to anymore.
 
My girlfriend is really into the SIMs type games... and rollercoaster tycoon... her theme parks are always much more aesthetically pleasing than mine.
 
Me and my girlfriend once played SSX Tricky for like 5 hours straight when I first got it. Then my girlfriend got cramps so I had to lay the control down and stretch my fingers for a bit. It was romantic though.

Heh. When I played Age of Kings with my fiancee she would spend most of her time making her towns look pretty and organized 🙂 She just concentrated on economy and tributed to me while I fired up the war machine and did all the killing.

my gf and I played Mortal Kombat on xbox together. And we play tetris head to head too. She gets pretty competitive. I got that new harry potter game for her too but she hasn't come by to play it yet.

"I had to lay the control down and "stretch" my "fingers" for a bit. It was "romantic" though
