Plays World of Warcraft (WOW)? It's kinda funny really, it's the first game that she has ever played on a computer. She used to hate computer games, and me, being the evil genius that I am, had to think of a way to have my cake and eat it too. I told her that she can shop on WOW, and it was all peachy from then on.

So, does your GF, SO plays any kind of games? And, were you a big influence?
 
My GF and I play:

- AOM:Titans multiplayer (Tried Rome: Total war, but we like the quick action in AOM)
- Ton of MP Wii games
- Tetris DS MP (We have a DSL each)
- Big Brain Academy MP
- Mario Party 5
 
GF plays WoW. I was definitely an influence on her gaming. Long time ago when we first moved in together she'd get irritated when I gamed for hours so she'd come over and distract me and eventually I'd save and we'd go do something else. One day I picked up EQ and was just playing around in the starting area and she came over to bother me yet again and was intrigued by the large number of people all running around together. So she wanted to try it, made a character and we basically shared playing that one character for years. Eventually got bored, built a second computer and went to WoW when it came out.

Now she even pvps which is not something she was ever interested in. She's also been playing around with my DS and wants a Wii. So I've changed her into a geek for sure!
 
I've been trying to convince my girlfriend that she would enjoy the Wii and its games. She never really plays video games; she played Super Mario and Mario kart on SNES... but thats about it.

Do most girls enjoy Wii?
 
My woman plays Counterstrike Source and she has all of the Sims 2 expansions and a subscription to thesimsresource.com, a place to download 8943575923875342872438974325 things. Oh man what have I done. She is also addicted to ATOT now. All because of me.

She played a good bit of sims and she enjoys guitar hero + DDR for some reason. She can't really get into WoW...but i am not going to lie, she has played my char a few times 😛
 
I'll play Civ IV, Neverwinter Nights and when we figure out how to get it working on our network, anything from the Command and Conquer The First Decade dvd. On my own, I like to play Sims 2, Zoo Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon, and any of the classic Sim games (SimTower :heart: ). No WoW here, though. I do have a few girl friends who are very into it, though.
 
My gf grew up in a Sega household--she still plays her first-gen Genesis complete with a Power Base Converter for when she feels like playing 8-bit Sega Master System games. Together, we play mostly 16-bit games. We're currently at the final boss in Secret of Mana (SNES), playing thru in multiplayer mode (I'm the hero, she's the girl, and I mostly control the "Sprite" character's magic but it's otherwise on autopilot). We also have been known to break out Dr. Mario and Tetris and continue the ongoing rivalry.

Oh yea, she occasionally plays Guild Wars: Prophecies too. She's post-Searing now but I have to get her up to speed with where the rest of us are currently at (I dont currently have 2 running gaming boxes anymore).
