Does your female friend behave differently with you in front of her BF?

We're pretty close friends and engage in some good conversations but whenever her BF is around when I call her, she acts all quiet suddenly.

Her BF is not possessive, I have no interest in her and I don't think she does either. This irritates me time to time. I just want to tell her to lighten up.

Some females are just bizarre like that. Obviously the guy can't be good for her if that's the effect he has on her.

i think its rude of you to call when shes with someone and expect her to talk to you while they are sitting there. If the dood is not in ur cricle of friends hes not going to get all the jokes or whatever shes talking about and since she is opening up to you it would make him jelous. I dont care how unpossessive he is, you hear your girl talking to another guy and getting into it and what sorta conclusions might you draw?
I think the girl just has manners and doesn't want to risk hurting her bf, and on top of that most people dont like to be interrupted on the phone when their with someone.

Because she feels guilty about your relationship with her, and doesn't want her boyfriend to know that you have a better relationship with her than he does.

Not much. Maybe a little. But my best female friend was really good friends with me long before she met her bf. He was jealous of us at first but he got over it.
