does your evga 7800 make a lot of noise?

my case (Antec Sonata II) has been making quite a bit of noise since i put in an eVga 7800 GT pci-e. as a result, i've been kind of scratching my head as to what to do, and have noticed that removing a panel from the side duct has quited down the fan a bit. will putting another 80mm fan in that bay improve the situation?

or is there something i'm missing here...
 
Nope...I have the same card as you and I have no problems with noise. It's actually quieter than my low-speed Panaflo and low-speed case fans.
 
i might have a problem with the card then...cause the rest of the case makes absolutely ZERO noise

would an 80mm case fan directly over the card do anything, ya think?
