Judging by your avatar your employer might be upset that you have a beard.

Not that I am aware, but I would assume that something might be said if the facial hair is not groomed. I men, if I grew a beard out like Capt. Lou Albano, something might be said.

*realizes 1/2 of ATOT is too young to understand Capt. Lou reference. :D

Anyone with facial hair must wear a beardnet when on the production floor. Members of the hazmat team must abide by regulations (ie, no facial hair).

Depends which department. air crew cannot have beards or long mustaches because it prevents the emergency O2 mask from making an airtight seal on your face. The Ramp guys can have whatever facial hair they please. General office personnel have to be clean-shaved or trimmed. That about sums it up.

Mcdonalds used to when I worked there. Not even a face net allowed, just no facial hair allowed. They make you shave it there before your shift if you have it.

Mine does, but only for people who need to wear respirators.

The only time I've ever worked anywhere (except the USMC) that had restrictions on facial hair, was when I did Haz-Mat work. Both as a first responder, and later doing environmental clean-up. Your facial hair couldn't interfere with the respirator seal. The boss always kept a box of disposable razors in case you "forgot" to shave that morning...

Ditto. I work in EMS, and there's a possibility we'd need to wear masks to protect against TB and the like. No beard for me :(

no... our only dress code policy is no shorts and no sweat/track pants.

my old job did, though. it wasn't on the books or anything, but once, after letting my facial hair grow for a couple weeks, my boss started dropping hints about his disapproval, so I shaved and kept my face shaved.

on the whole, I prefer a shaved face, it's just that sometimes I get lazy :p I don't grow my facial hair super fast, though... probably takes me a week to grow the typical "5 o'clock shadow". nowadays I shave about once a month, unless I'm going out some place fancy or meeting face-to-face with clients or people from the corporate office.

No my employer doesn't have one, but my last one did, so I pretty much shave everyday (except for weekends).
