How sanitary is it to let a dog sleep on (or in) ur bed?

I also notice that many people like to kiss their dogs on the mouth. To me that's definitely a no-no. lol

That's nasty.

People are freakin' wierd, though, so nothing surprises me. Our cats sleep in the garage. If they don't like it they can count themselves lucky they're not outside or at the pound.

If I were married and we had a dog...then it would definitely sleep inside the house but it would have its own doggy bed. Not to say that it wouldn't be allowed to get on the bed in the morning for a few minutes but not the entire night.

It's funny, though, no matter how big or small, dogs are people wannabes.

Not only do they sleep in our bed, but despite it being a king sized bed, somehow I end up on the edge of the bed with the blankets stolen by the dogs.

Hell no!

We've got 100 pound German Sheppard... he thinks he runs the place...unless I'm around.

He tried at first (we "saved" him from the pound...so he was 1-2 yo when we got him)... but several whaps on the nose later and I think he understands... lol

Now if I could just keep him off the furniture when we're not home.

Yes. Buttons (7 pounds) and Jazmin (8 pounds) normally sleep in my parents' bed, either on top or under the covers depending on how hot/cold it is. When I come home to visit, Buttons sleeps in my bed under covers (she's my dog and she feels that she has to be by my side 24-7 when I'm home). She normally likes to curl up in a ball and sleep next to my stomach.
