Just wondering, cause I'm getting tired of this, but installing a window AC would be a pain in the arse.

yes it does. it's only a lowly AXP 1700 palo with a 300W PSU with a GF3 Ti500 and a 120gig HD. no crazy stuff in there but it generates heat for sure.

That's it? Try a P4C 2.8 with a 420W PSU and a X800XT, completed with a 19" CRT. My room is always 85F, even in February.

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one. And for reference, dual Xeon with 2 power supplies and a 19" ViewSonic. I'm going to have to figure out something to do... The 10 fans are pushing all of the hot air into the room.... It sucks.

I'm considering venting it directly from the case...hooking up a flexible duct (like dryer exhaust) to one of the outputs and then putting a small and hopefully unnoticable hole in the floor of my closet to push the air into the basement where it's nice and cool.

I have like 8 computers running in here, including an Athlon 64 (in sig) and 3 Athlon XP's. The noise is pertty bad, but it is constant so it puts me to sleep :p. but the LED's (i counted all of them once and it was like over 100) ware REALLY starting to get on my nerves!.

PLUS! I have a Logitech Z-5300-e set, in which the sub heats up very much.... it has a HUGE heatsink on the back!

AND! This is Chicago weather. It was 91 degrees Farenheit today!

Well, I have the sides of the case off right now, and the 2 120's in the back push a lot of air out. Damn, I forgot to install the SuperMicro system monitoring software when I reformatted... Ooops.
