Here is a Gov agency that has recalls listed. Its easy to use as you just input your Year, Make, and Model and it spits out all known recalls.

After that just print it out and ask your local dealer if your car has already had this recall applied or not.

Yep, for the Passenger Air bags, something to do with the sensor under the seat rusting out.

Got it fixed took an hour.

my particular model isn't listed although the model it's based on is with 2. seatbelts and side airbags.

2004 toyota solara. (based on camry)

Guess not. Searched Vehicle -> 2008 -> Ford. Fusion is not listed as an option under model.

Yea thats a good thing. This is what is written on the site...

When a product (e.g. Make/Model/Model Year, etc.) combination does not appear on the pick list, there are no Safety Recalls associated with that product.
