If so, have you found any Wireless AP\Broadband router\Printserver that also has a USB connection?
All the ones I've read reviews on seem to only have RJ45

Thanks

The devices you seek do exist. However Blitz is correct in that if you're gonna build a network, use traditional CAT5 when possible. USB should be a last resort.

some isp provide dsl and cable modems only equipt w/ usb... no ethernet. he might be in that situation... however some isp are willing to swap the modem for free. other than that, you gotta spen 50-100 for a modem.

Here's my situation

2 home users both have laptops, going to equip them with 3com 802.11 cards. They have broadband(forget if it's cable or DSL, but that doesn't matter) their ISP hooked them up with a USB only Modem, users claim not to have anything to put an internal modem into and the ISP doesn't have an external modem with RJ45 (I call BS)
Anyhow users want to share that internet connection.
All of the reviews I've read show none of the Wireless AP\routers has having a USB port-DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMETHING DIFFERENT?

Thanks

You're on the money, baby!

Get a list of approved modems from the ISP (if they can't furnish you with one, find another provider).
Check the list for a model that includes an RJ-45 interface.
Buy that model, config it (may involve the ISP folks) and stop the b.s.

You could always try, "I sold my computer, and bought a cheaper one. The new one doesn't have a USB Port. It has a network card. Is there anyway I can keep using your ISP, or should I just cancel?". That might get you a real modem. After all, they BSed you first. :)
