Does XP Home Edition support Core 2 Duo or Dual core Cpu's?

I've tried looking throughout the web, and the only things i've found are random responses with some saying yes, and others saying no.

Any links or responses would be appreciated! 😀
 
Yes. XP Home doesn't support multi-CPU-socket setups. Conroe has two CPUs on the same die, in one socket, so it's supported.
 
i asked the same question 1 or 2 weeks ago about an athlon x2.
now i'm running it under xp home: no problem at all!
