Im not sure about your board specifically, but Im running a Tiger MP and didnt have to load a single driver for the AMD chipset and I wouldnt recommend anything but what XP does load. Just be sure to update as soon as you get online, as they keep the drivers updated very well. Im running XP much more stable than Win2k

Yes XP does have native drivers for your chipset, they are however probably not the latest release

I have an asus A7m266 with the same AMD 760 chipset and XP Pro works perfectly.
Much better than Windows 2000 even with the via 4n1 drivers.

XP has not given me any troubles so far.

Not only will it load the right drivers, it will order a pizza to your house in the meanwhile, and it will have all of your favourite toppings....... I wonder how they do that?

Yes, when I reload XP finds all the chipset drivers. Tyer are out of date, but it's a simple matter to go to vias website and get the latest 4-in-1 driver package.

Yep no problems with drivers on XP & your hardware, just install it get all the XP updates and you are off ;),I`ve been using WinXP for quite awhile now ,the good thing for me is gaming compatibility plus rock solid stability.

This is the reason I love XP. Ease of loading it. Its just about trouble free. I had several winmodems lying around that I couldnt get drivers to work with. With XP they work great! I didnt have to find any of the drivers for them. IMO Bill's flunkies done a great job with XP!

That's one thing I like about XP. For example, my HP Scanjet 3300C, which was a PITA (wouldn't even work with Windows 2000), was detected upon first plug-in, and the drivers were loaded without even the need for a CD insertion. Also, it picked up my Kodak DX3500, and loaded drivers for that w/o any trouble at all.
IMHO, the people who are WinXP-bashing simply either 1) haven't tried it or 2) tried it and had a bad experience with it. Remember that 2 happens with Windows 2000 and Linux also.
