Does worldofwarcraft.com load right for you?

I keep getting Martha Stewart  The Blizzard site works fine, but even when I click the WoW link on there it goes to Martha... The URL is still worldofwarcraft, though.

(Note: This topic is not about the game, so refrain from any conversation about said game.)

I'm at work. It's never been blocked before. Wouldn't the url NOT say worldofwarcraft.com, though? Wouldn't it be redirecting?

That appears to be the only site that's doing it... Hell, facebook, etc still work fine. And as far as I'm aware I was the only one that used WoW.com...

didn't you hear? Martha bought the rights to the game. all professions have been changed to cooking and tailoring. and instead of raiding, u will all have cook-offs and decorating contests.

It's fine. But my computer isn't the only one doing it, so I didn't really expect it to be changed.

haha.

A pillowcase and a bar of soup while your roomies sleep should have it fixed.

If you are using windows go to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and open HOSTS with notepad.

Search for worldofwarcraft in it.

If you don't use your HOSTS file you can delete everything in it, I would leave 127.0.0.1 localhost though.

It's actually quite the opposite, I work for it. That damn site never pays me a dime, yet every month I find myself paying to it.

lol, when I do that it pops up a certificate thing that says "the website you are trying to access is http://www.worldofwarcraft.com, but the certificate belongs to http://www.marthastewart.com. etc etc"

Your IS staff has it redirected through the proxy.

Yeah, either that or if you use internal DNS someone's screwing with the DNS record.
