My mom is really driving me nut. I believe that wordperfect 6.1 isnt working very well with window xp. I checked on microsoft website to see if wordperfect 6.1 is compatible with window Xp. It turned out that old wordperfect verison 6.1 isn't comptible with window xp home edition so I strongly suggested her to get update wordperfect verison in order to make it work right.
I found out that she already has wordperfect version 11 so I installed it and showed her how it works.
The wordperfect 6.1 program will shut or crash when it tries to print. The computer runs fine. I will need to ask u guys who has wordperfect 6. 1 that works with window xp??? So I can figure a way to fix it...
The problem is that she is too afraid to use her laptop computer after that problem. My mom screamed that she strongly believes her laptop has worm or virus. I double checked and even did window update to download the update patches to prevent blaster and other worms. She still freaks out and said " how the hell do you know?" I definitely gave up and left home....
Anyone can help me out to prove her it's the wordperfect 6.1 that causes that problem.???
