Does WinXP have a built in Alarm Clock?

Wanna set an alarm reminder for myself when i'm browsing the internet., but not sure if windows xp has one somewhere....

Nope, not built in. Google it and I'm sure you'll find lots of them. My favorite way to have an alarm clock is to get a plugin in Winamp so your favorite playlist plays when the alarm goes on.

Edit: well actually I guess you could use the Scheduled Tasks to play a .wav file or something.

you can use the task scheduler if you want. it's the only thing I know of that wakes the computer up from standby/sleep mode thing.

it was actually for ebay. i was playing games on the pc and didn't want to forget about bidding during the last 30 seconds.

maybe a better question would be, is there a auction watcher type program that alerts me when a auction is about to end? maybe i should post this now in the other forums on this website.
