Does WinME support NTFS?

Answer is no.

You can get 3rd party programs that will let you read and write to local NTFS partitions though.

Didnt think it would, of course MS cant do anything all the way, argh, why do they insist on torturing me 🙁🙁🙁

Anyway, thanks for the answer.

Yeah, WinME is a branch of Win95/Win98/Win98 SE so it will not read NTFS partitions. I found it rather irritating to have NTFS sometimes when your hard drive is causing problems and you need to boot to DOS. DOS only recognizes FAT/FAT32 so you're out of luck.

Yeah, basically NTFS is reserved for NT/2k... but if you go to www.sysinternals.com and click on Utilities for Win9x (on the left) you can get NTFS for Win98.... there's a free read-only version, but you have to buy the Read/Write version.
