I'm working on something with a friend and we need to get a perl script working without it being hosted (yet). I know linux supports it and he has linux on his computer (his main OS), but tomorrow night we're working on it at my house and I'm just wondering if I should bother installing Linux to work on it or if Windows2000 supports it. I'm just going to format linux and go to W2k afterwards anyway (I had planned to ditch WinME tomorrow anyway, so installing linux first would be no big deal really, just take up a lil more time).

If W2k doesn't natively support perl, maybe there's some program or something that does?

Thanks guys. :)
