Will there be any problem with my computer and running this operating system? Will it effect my overclocking abilities? Should I just stay with XP?

Athlon 64 Venice 3200+ 939
DFI LanParty nF4 Ultra-D
OCZ PC4000 VX Gold x 2 512
160 Seagate NCQ 7200.7 SATA
Redeon X800XL
OCZ PowerStream 520w PSU

I plan on clocking this to at least 2.7, will x64 interfear at all or will it only help?

Thanks!

I don't think that the OS version will have much affect on your overclocking. Some software stresses certain subsystems harder than others, so OSs may vary in how easily they detect flakyness; but overclocks are hardware limited, in the end.

As for XP vs. XP-64, there doesn't seem to be much reason to switch, just yet. Your stuff is modern enough that it ought to be supported pretty well, on the whole, but you won't see any particularly exciting advantages(unless you have more than 2 gigs of RAM and programs that really need it).
