Does Windows 7 turn off drives individually?

When you have multiple drives, does windows turn them all off when the hard drive sleep timer goes off or does it turn them each individually after each drive is inactive for the specified time?

All drives at the same time.

Damn. I was afraid of that. At the very least, I just confirmed that my USB drive does turn off on it's own. I at least wanted this drive to stay off most of the time but ready at a click.

I was thinking about drive longevity today. It got me considering where I should keep the more important stuff vs data that needs performance.
