Did anyone notice that the bass from their sub/whatever-speaker-setup-you- have increased substantially after installing windows 7? I built a new computer, but I'm using the same soundcard as my old rig, since my speakers/sub combo isn't compatible with the onboard audio-jacks for my mobo.
The first time I played an mp3 to test the sound the bass was unbelievable. Not only is it louder, but it's deeper, richer, and seemed to be much more dynamic, which I think is saying something because it already sounded good on my old system. My gf was there and said 'Wow...it sounds like the bass in your car now". Is there any reason for this?
