Does Windows 2000 SP4 understand harddrives of 250 Gb or more?

Hello, I just bought a 250 Gb harddrive and I don't know how to format it when I'm installing Windows 2000 SP4 so I wonder if someone of you could help me with my problem?

When I want to make some partitions on my new 250 Gb hdd and format it, my slipstreamed Windows 2000 SP4 thinks it's just a 128 Gb hdd.

I've tried to fool my Windows 2000 OS by using a Windows XP SP2 CD to make my partitions but later when I put my Win 2000 SP4 CD into my CD-player it doesn't understand what I've done on my hdd and says that I got unpartitioned space on my hdd.

If someone of you knows what I should do to be able to format my 250 Gb hdd, I wonder if Win 2000 can use a hdd this big without giving me disk-errors or some other "nice" things since it seems to be to stupid to hande hdds larger than 128 Gb.

Thanks for your "Problem-solver-link" MrChad

I'm gonna try it now and see if I'm able to make my hdd "bigger".
