Does Win9x/ME also have problems when there are high amounts of DDR ram??

I know about the issues that can arise with large amonts of SD ram when using win98/ME, having to adjust the vcache and whatever, otherwise the OS might be slow or operate funny. But what about DDR ram? Do the same problems/restrictions apply? I ask because i'll most likely be going to a DDR mobo (my first one) which will probably be the KR7-raid, on my main system this spring, that PC runs WinME and i would like to keep using it. I'm just not sure if DDR ram will have the same issues as SD ram did with that OS.

Yes. It's not the type of memory that's of issue, but the amount.

You may be referring to the "out of memory" errors. It's when you have more than 512M of ram as described in this article.
