have 2 monitors and i'm sure i can dig up another vid card. can i run 2 with this os and a pii 400. any info will be helpful. jer

Indeed it does, Windows 98 first edition supports multi monitors natively with no add-on software.
Win98 and Win NT4 were the first MS OS's to support multi-monitor, though NT4 needs a single graphics card with dedicated support for multi-monitors to use the feature though while Win98 has no such limitation.

great, do both the vid cards need to be pci or can i mix? (pci + isa or agp) and what do i have to tell windows to do in the vid settings? if i understood that reply i can just install the second vid card and win will pick it up and config on the next boot. lmk, jer.

both monitors are up and running, one acts just like my regular windows the other just has the same splash screen. have to hit control to move back and forth. it only works sometimes. what setting have i f-d up? thanx, jer
