Does wattage matter for coil whine

My Antec 650 is now making coil whine, it annoys me. Would going up to a 750 matter for that, or just stick with 650. I have enough power for my system, but then I think going 750 I could SLI my 770, that's a bad thing cause I would spend even more money. So either getting the HX 650 or 750.

Nope, now looking at the evga supernova. Buying from Microcenter though.

I might just get the V700, hard to beat with the sale at newegg, but $35 rebate sucks.

Buying the same series of PSU and only 100W higher would make it more likely you experience coil whine again at the same system load. If on the fence go with the higher capacity but a different model/design. It's no guarantee there won't be any whining but the odds are better...
