Does Walmart really test all of their employees for drugs?

A friend of mine told me all walmarts give their employees drug tests when they get hired.

I am not sure if walmart would really spend that much time and $$$$ to do that.

Has anyone here ever worked there? Did you get drug tested?


PS : I am not a druggie and I am not going to apply at walmart anytime soon. Just curious about this since we have never worked there..
 
..drug testing is cheap these days and insurance companies offer coverage discounts to companies that do pre employment,..random and post accident. And yes..Walmart has all three programs in place as do most retailers and public employment/civil service.
 
No wonder they always only have one checkstand open, they're having a hard time finding sober people who aren't drug addicts who'd actually bother applying for a job at Walmart.
