well, that all depends
they do pricematch, but more often than not you'll get an inbred clerk (or manager) that can't comprehend the concept of price-matching, so you'll have to wait a good 15 minutes while they look over the ad/receipt in detail, then call up their inbred superior to get an approval.
unless it's a signifigant difference i wouldnt bother. i can't stand being in walmarts.. and the times i have tried to price match things have made me want to go on a rampage 😀
for example. i wanted to price match max payne for pc. it was $4.99 at compusa. the ad said "$19.99 - $15 instant savings = $4.99". Wal-mart was selling the game for $19.99.
I showed the clerk the ad. She didn't understand it. The manager came over. Fatass trailer trash skank.
her: "I don't understand what this instant savings means"
me: "Normally the game is $19.99, but they're saying you save $15 and can buy the game for $4.99"
her: "but we don't price match mail in rebates"
me: "i understand that. this is INSTANT savings, not a mail in rebate. if you'll look in the ad they list other things as being discounted after mail-in-rebate, but THIS one has instant savings."
her: "but i dont get what this instant savings means"
me: "it means I CAN WALK INTO COMPUSA AND BUY THE GAME FOR $4.99 CASH, WHICH MEANS YOU CAN MATCH THAT PRICE OF $4.99"
her: "i'm sorry, we don't price match mail in rebates. i can't help you"
so i went to a different walmart (it was late, only place open, and compusa is too far away)... this time i got a clerk who had no idea what instant savings meant once again... she paged her manager. we sat there for 15 mins waiting for a reply, got nothing.. the entire time the clerk was reading the ad with a baffled look on her face, and eventually just gave it to me.
