Does WalMart install Tire Rack tires?

Walmart advertises $9.67/tire mounting/balancing and road hazard.. Do they honor that for Tire Rack tires? Or just the ones you buy from them. (Yes, i would call, but they are closed here for the night)

I believe Walmart will install other tires than the ones they sell, but it's not for 9.67. I think it's 10 per tire without road hazard and lifetime balance. Sam's will not mount any other tire.

I couldn't get tires installed on my Maxima cause the wheels weren't "stock"... (even though they're the alloy rims that nissan sells )

Stupid... so i left, but not without stealing something first. Down with walmart!

I actually had 2 tires I bought from tires.com installed at Walmart.

Only thing was that he said there are some high performance tires that they can't install but mine was 195/50/15 so I got charged the normal price.

They do that for your protection. Be glad that they didn't want to waste your time with you suing them for nicks on your rims.

Be aware that you may be able to get a local retailer to match Tire Rack's prices. I got a Firestone shop to pricematch them when I was buying tires, which saved me a lot of hassle, and still allowed me to get Road Hazard Protection, which has already paid for itself.

sam's club will not install tires that are not bought theere....so that may be true for walmart.
