I want to buy a digital camera, use it for 3 months and then return it. Would they let me do that? Of course, when returning it, I'll lie that I got it as a gift for someone, they didn't like it etc...

I have money saved, but I can't spend it knowing that I'd need books, circuit boards and other sh!t a few months from now. Then I don't know if I'll be able to find a pt job during the school year. Basicly, digicams are always at the botom of my to buy list.

Anyway, you won't be able to return it after three months. I'm not certain of Walmart's return policy, but I imagine you'll get between 14 and 30 days to return it.
 
I'm pretty sure wal-mart would let you get away with it, but it's sure not ethical. According to our Sale of goods act, really you should be paying them for any benefit you get from the thing.

If you can't afford one, don't buy one. Don't rip off the company just cuz you can't afford something, even if your intended victim is walmart.

If you are a poor college student, suck it up and wait til you get a job or borrow on CC if you are really desperate for some pics.

FutureShop has a refurb Powershot A60 on sale for C$ 180 with free shipping, so I got that.

We've noticed that and I work retail for walmart so go screw someone else over. Would you like this if you owned a store? Walmart is the huge company and they can afford it blah blah blah response from you. Wrong, you are hurting your local store and the profit sharing of the employees in that store. Walmart is very strict and money hungry. Each store is analyzed for performance like you would not believe.

You can get a brand new a60 at amazon for 156
