Does Vista Ultimate Drain batteries?

Its all in how they utilize the hardware. Because the hardware requirements are higher for Vista the CPU and RAM does more work just to keep it idle. As for actual numbers that will very widely depending on the hardware involved, and the way the system is being used. But it is safe to say that an XP system will last a little longer but its really hard to measure these things. All battery life reviews are subjective and are hard to compare across different systems with different hardware and software configurations.
