I just placed an order and it's being shipped UPS. My only mailing address is a PO box at my local post office. Will the PO hold it for me, you think?

<<Every effort must be made to obtain a street address. If a shipper should use a P.O. Box address, the recipient's telephone number must be included on the label. A package addressed to a P.O. Box may experience delays, will not be covered by any UPS Service Guarantee, and an Address Correction charge will apply. APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) addresses are not accepted.>>

If your PO box is at a mailboxes place, ship it to their address and have them sign for it, no problem. If it's like a real PO box at a post office and with noone to sign for it and accept it, you're out of luck.

HA! Ha!

Whichever shipping clerk sent that out must be brand new. Call UPS (800-PICK-UPS) tell them your street address for your tracking number. Someone should be able to take care of it.

If they don't deliver due to the PO box, you'll be able to schedule a pickup.

Thing is, I live in a shared house. The front door is downstairs from everyone. The door is ALWAYS locked and the doorbell doesn't work. I'm afraid if I'm not home no one will even bother answering the door, let alone hear anyone knocking. This really sucks.

Leave a note to the UPS guy. In the future, you can specify that a signature is required.. I don't know if it has to be your signature though. In the future, you're best off having a Mailboxes Etc. type place recieving packages probably.
