does UPS media mail have tracking???

If the mailer chose to add Delivery Confirmation (it's $0.13 with Media Mail) it's confirmable. USPS 'tracking' is pretty bare-bones, but it does its job really well most of the time.

If you download the USPS Shipping Assistant from here, you can print out a Media Mail label with a Delivery Confirmation barcode right on it. Then, just take it to your local post office, pay postage + $0.13, and you're good to go!
