Does UPS Have a Signature Waiver?

anyone know?

FedEx does and I  it. It totally sucks to pay a premium for overnight shipping but then have to wait an extra day because I had to go run an errand and missed the UPS driver.

Yes UPS does. You just leave a handsigned note that says you allow them to release it.

i do this for all of my packages since im at work when they deliver. i go to the shippers website and print off the tracking info. then at the bottom i just write a little note, sign it, and leave my phone # where i can be reached. never had a problem, stuff is always there when i return

Incorrect. If the driver is following policy, they should not release thepackage.

High dollar items cannot be driver released. You can pick it up or make other arrangements such as delivering the package at a place of business.
If you order a computer it ain't gettin left, note or no note.
