Does UPS go by the same neighborhood multiple times in a day?

So Im expecting a package today, and the UPS guy already drove by my house (around 10 this morning). Will they make another trip later or was that the only truck scheduled for my neighborhood?

My tracking number shows a delivery date of today but the package isnt shown as "out for delivery", even though it's at the local depot, weird.

The UPS driver probably saw that you were at home and did not want to deliver the package in its current condition with the possibility of you greeting him there.

He's making deliveries down the street. When they drive back by he will drop kick it into your front yard without stopping.

The deliver to my neighborhood twice a day, at approximately 2pm and 7pm.

They deliver twice a day. In the morning trip they do the overnighters and other speed priority packages. Then in the afternoon they do whatever they can - if they don't get it all its ok it'll make it the next day.

They could be, I was working on my front lawn when they drove by. I usually get my pacakges around 4 pm so Im not worried yet, though I was looking forward to playing Oblivion again (it fried my old video card so I got a new one), oh well.
